More than 70 million voters in the United States cast ballots in early elections


More than 70 million US citizens voted during the general elections to be held in the United States on November 5. This is evidenced by the data published by Florida State University.
 
An estimated 70,053,286 Americans voted early, with more than 37.4 million voting in person at the polls and about 32.6 million voting by mail.

The number of registered voters in the USA is about 168 million. The most early voters were in the states of Texas (7.9 million), Florida (7.3 million) and California (6 million).

The next general elections in the USA will be held on November 5. Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris will compete for the position of head of state. Trump was the 45th president of America and served from 2017 to 2021. Harris serves as the Vice President of the United States.
