"On February 10, a solemn reception dedicated to the Day of the Diplomatic Worker was held at the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Armenia, with the participation of the state bodies of the Republic of Armenia, public and political figures, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Yerevan.
It is noteworthy that during such receptions, as a protocol rule, the ambassador's greeting is followed by the congratulatory speech of a high-ranking official of the Armenian government or a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Meanwhile, RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mnatsakan Safaryan, who was present at the solemn reception, did not say a single word.
Probably, the Deputy Minister was still under the impression of the US Vice President Vance's visit and did not know that just hours after the reception at the Russian Embassy, Nikol Pashinyan had to announce on the public air. "Damaging Russia's interests will not be on our agenda, no one will be able to involve us in the logic of acting against Russia.
Moreover, Pashinyan emphasized: "I have warm relations with Putin and Mishustin." We will never act against Russia. We will always act for the interests of the Republic of Armenia. This will be our strategy."
