"Army aviation strikes and artillery fire defeated accumulations of manpower and equipment of the 21st, 41st, 47th and 61st mechanized, 17th tank, 80, 82 and 95th air assault brigades, 36th marine brigade, as well as the 1st special forces brigade, 112th, 129th territorial defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 17th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine," - the department stated. It is specified that the Russian military attacked enemy units located in the areas of the settlements of Alexandria, Viktorovka, Guevo, Daryino, 1st Knyazhiy, Kolmakov, Kruglenkoye, Lebedevka, Leonidovo, Malaya Loknya, Martynovka, Melovoy, Nikolaevo-Daryino , Nikolsky, Novoivanovka, Novy Put, Plekhovo, Pravda, Sverdlikovo, Sudzha and Cherkasy Porechnoye. In addition, operational-tactical aviation and missile forces hit the reserves of seven brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Sumy region, the ministry added. Early in the morning of August 6, Ukrainian militants invaded to the Kursk region to seize Russian territory. Their advance was stopped. As of November 1, during the fighting in this area, the enemy army lost more than 28,850 military personnel, 180 tanks and hundreds of pieces of other equipment. In Kursk, as well as Belgorod and Bryansk regions, a counter-terrorist operation regime is in place to ensure the safety of citizens.
