Ynet. The US asked Israel not to attack Iran during the negotiations

The US administration has asked Israel to avoid unilateral military action against Iran while Washington negotiates with Tehran. This was reported by the Ynet portal.

According to the portal, the Americans conveyed to Israel a request to wait and "not to take reckless steps, for example, a pre-emptive strike". The portal notes, referring to the source, that the coordination between the two countries is "very close, almost unprecedented".

"The number of visits by Israeli officers to the US and the number of visits by American officers to Israel is simply unbelievable. The level of coordination is unprecedentedly high," Ynet quoted its interlocutor as saying.

On February 3, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu received the special representative of US President Stephen Wittkoff in Jerusalem, and one of the topics of their discussion was the situation around Iran.
