The Prime Minister of Japan will meet with Xi Jinping in November. Yomiuri:

Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba will have a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in mid-November.

It was reported by the Yomiuri newspaper, citing government sources. The leaders of the two countries will participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit to be held in Peru on November 15-16 and the G20 summit to be held in Brazil on November 18-19. It is noted that their meeting within the framework of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit is considered more likely. This will be the first meeting between Shigeru Ishiba, elected Prime Minister of Japan in October, and his Chinese counterpart.

As expected, Japan intends to confirm its course of "strategic and mutually beneficial relations" with China. The publication reports that Prime Minister Isiba will express his intention to establish constructive and stable relations with China and resolve complex issues through dialogue.
