"Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper received an alarm from passengers that the state-supported Wizz Air airline literally threw passengers to the streets to Prague.
Wiz air has been keeping passengers in limbo since yesterday. They only received a letter that the flight is delayed and that's it. why, which they did not clarify. Elen Kandaryan, famous for her Instagram page Elenchs_blog, published a video that the Prague-Yerevan flight was canceled without a clear explanation.
According to him, the passengers were sent a link to choose a hotel, they were offered a stay of only 1 day, while the next flight, according to him, is in 3 days. "Zero information, zero communication with the client," he noted.
To remind, under the government's plan, airlines carrying out transportation to new destinations receive support: 15,000 drams for each passenger transported by "Shirak" and 20,000 drams for those arriving at "Zvartnots".
It turns out that the state pays the Hungarian airline, but when it comes to the protection of the passenger's rights, the right to be informed, the executive becomes incapacitated and the "flight of silence" begins. "Zhoghovurd" appealed to the responsible structures to find out what kind of control exists over the airline that receives the subsidy, and who is responsible in such cases.
Why are passengers leaving Armenia and arriving in Armenia left on the streets without information, without support from the country? But we don't have an official answer yet. By the way, this is not the only complaint that citizens report, about the rest, one after another."
