Azerbaijan assured that an Afghan citizen planned to carry out a terrorist attack in Baku

The trial in the criminal case of Afghan citizen Fawzan Musa Khan, accused of planning a terrorist attack, has ended in Baku. According to local media, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Earlier, the State Security Service of Azerbaijan reported the detention of an Afghan citizen who was planning a terrorist attack in Baku.

Azerbaijani intelligence services assure that he conducted surveillance near the embassy building of one of the states in order to determine the coordinates of the territory of the diplomatic department, established contacts with other persons to attract them to the terrorist attack, as well as to obtain financial support for the purchase of weapons and explosives.
