The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kyiv was attacked, it was a retaliation strike for the attack on the special forces university in Gudermes, RIA Novosti reports.
On Tuesday, Kadyrov reported that early in the morning the roof of an empty building on the territory of the Russian University of Special Forces (RUS) in Gudermes caught fire after an attack by a UAV; there were no casualties. The investigative authorities began to investigate the incident and identify those involved in the crime. The activities of the university have not been suspended; all services are operating as normal. The head of the republic emphasized that in the near future the opponents would be shown such retribution as they had never dreamed of.
“I said the day before that we wouldn’t have to wait long for retribution for yesterday’s attack on the RUS building. The answer was sent today. At 4:00 and 5:30 in the morning, the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Defense Ministry launched two Geranium strikes on the control center for unmanned systems of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kyiv. It was from this building that the drone that flew to Gudermes on Tuesday was controlled,” Kadyrov wrote.
