The Japanese government believes that North Korea may launch missiles, launch a satellite or conduct a nuclear test. This was announced by Yoshimasa Hayashi, the Chief Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Japan, answering the question about the conclusions of the intelligence of the Republic of Korea.
"The Japanese government always carefully collects and analyzes [relevant] data," he said, but declined to elaborate on the reports from Seoul.
At the same time, he reiterated the position previously voiced in Tokyo, that in Tokyo's opinion, the DPRK "may carry out further provocative actions, such as the launch of various types of missiles, the launch of a satellite or a nuclear test."
