Turkey detected and shot down a drone over the Black Sea. The Ministry of Defense of Turkey announced this on its social media page.

The department noted that the military detected an "air target approaching the Turkish airspace" over the Black Sea. They controlled it with the F-16 fighter provided by NATO.

The object was later identified as an out-of-control drone.

"To avoid any negative consequences, it was shot down in a safe area outside the residential areas," the department said.
