Morocco and France signed agreements worth 10 billion euros during Macron's visit

Morocco and France signed more than 20 cooperation agreements in various fields on the evening of October 28 in Rabat.

Sources of the AFP agency said that the total value of the agreements is around 10 billion euros. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, and the President of France, Emmanuel Macron. The agreements concern the railway sector, green hydrogen production, water resources, energy, investment attraction, agriculture and forestry, fire fighting, education, scientific research. and innovation, cooperation and implementation of projects in the fields of culture.

According to the report of the Moroccan King's office, during the talks in Rabat, the heads of state discussed bilateral relations, regional and international issues. They advocated an immediate end to Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon. The two leaders also signed a Declaration on Extended Exclusive Partnership. The French President arrived in Rabat on October 28 on a three-day state visit. The 120-member delegation accompanying him also includes several ministers, representatives of the business sector, famous French cultural and scientific figures, actors and athletes.
