"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"According to "Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper, a number of extra-parliamentary opposition forces have regular meetings to discuss their actions ahead of the national elections. According to our information, these forces are "Armenian National Congress" (ANC), "Sasna Tsrer", "Land of Living", "Njar" constitutional movement, "Victory" party chairman, city planner Viktor Mnatsakanyan and others. "We are meeting with a much larger number of people and political forces.
I think it will not be right to publish names and give details of the meetings now," Nina Karapetyants, the leader of the "Njar" constitutional movement, said in an interview with "Zhoghovurd" daily, adding that it is more reasonable to maintain silence and calmness in this situation.
Karapetyants only mentions from the meetings that they reached a common denominator on many issues with all the forces that really have a value system and have an idea of what kind of changed, developed, safe Armenia they can live in.
Karapetyants did not answer our question about whether they had a discussion with Arman Tatoyan, the leader of the newly formed "Unity Wings" movement. "It is too early to talk about a unified candidate.
I can only say that "Njar" proposed my candidacy," Karapetyants disclosed. As is known, the "Our way" movement, the "Armenia" bloc led by Robert Kocharyan are also positioned in the opposition field, which will probably participate in the same format.
It is too early to say what other new forces will appear."
