The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia has already completed the development of the master plan of the "Academic City" concept, next year it will be submitted for approval.
During the preliminary discussion of the 2025 state budget at the joint session of the NA standing committees, KGS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan informed about this.
According to him, the development of the urban development study, the "Academic City" management model, and the "Academic City" transport project have also started with the agreements signed with international reputable partners.
He informed that in the state budget of 2025, a separate budget program was allocated for the Academic city.
"We will continue the implementation of the project with great momentum. This year we completed the development of the master plan of the "Academic City" concept. In 2025, the complete master plan will be submitted for approval in accordance with local legislation," said Zhanna Andreasyan.
