The USA and Taiwan signed a contract for the supply of about a thousand Switchblade 300 and ALTIUS 600M-V kamikaze drones (worth $163.7 million). This was reported by the Central Telegraph Agency of the island.

According to him, the information about the two contracts was published on the procurement website of the Taiwanese authorities. The first of them, worth 54 million dollars, provides for the supply of anti-personnel drones. As the agency noted, it is about 720 Switchblade 300 ammunitions. They should be transferred to the Taiwanese army by 2029. end of November.

The second contract, worth 109.7 million dollars, provides for the supply of drones for hitting armored vehicles. According to the agency, it is about 291 ALTIUS 600M-V drones. Under the terms of the agreement, they will be transferred to the Taiwanese army until 2027. end of the year.
