Harris believes that problems in the US should not prevent us from helping other countries

US Vice President Kamala Harris, who is the US presidential candidate from the Democrats, assures that Washington should not refuse to support other countries because of internal problems. He made such a statement in an interview on the iHeartRadio radio station on Tuesday.

Harris was asked why the US authorities allocate funds to help other countries, despite the urgent need to direct them to solving domestic problems. "We can do both, that's how it is done," he said.

"I am convinced that America should never give up its responsibilities as a world leader. It corresponds to our national security, the interests of each of us as Americans, and our position on the world stage," Harris believes.

The presidential elections in the USA will be held on November 5. Former President Donald Trump will represent the Republican Party, and Harris will represent the Democratic Party.
