A large rally was held in Tehran on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the national holiday of "Bahman 22", during which a number of ballistic missiles and a satellite carrier of its own production were displayed, the Iranian Mehr news agency reported. The rally participants' attention was particularly attracted by the "Khorramshahr" and "Hajj Qasem" ballistic missiles, as well as the "Omid" satellite carrier.
"Khorramshahr" has a range of 2,000 kilometers and can carry multiple warheads weighing 1,800 kilograms. "Hajj Qasem" is also known as the new generation of "Fateh-110" precision strike missiles. It has a range of 1,400 km and can hit air defense missile systems. In the Iranian capital, protesters marched along 13 different routes to reach Azad (Freedom) Square, where President Masoud Pezeshkian will deliver a speech.
Hundreds of foreign guests, including influential figures in science, politics and other fields, visited Iran for the event, as well as more than 7,000 cameramen and journalists, including 200 foreign journalists, to cover the mass rallies in Tehran and other cities.
