Tadevos Avetisyan, a member of the Armenian National Assembly’s “Armenia” faction, writes:
“Fashion is changing.
Boundless populism is giving way to savage capitalism.
Progressively growing lies and public manipulations are also not yielding results.
The real and monstrous face of the current ruling clique is now visible from under the mask.
We have come to the right place.
And so, the time has come to oppress the citizen.
Everyone is no longer declared “guilty.” the working poor, the single pensioner, the vulnerable family member, the citizen who somehow makes a living from a small business, the daily wage earner and barely surviving farmer, our compatriot who goes abroad for work, whose pension and minimum wage will not increase this year, but the turnover tax will double, foreign remittances will be taxed, property tax and garbage collection fees, transportation fares, and the prices of basic food items will continue to increase.
And this is just the beginning ... "
