Garik Karapetyan, a member of the Armenian weightlifting men's team weighing 110 kg, won the gold medal of the European Championship in Batumi with a result of 415 kg. After the exercise in Pokum, Karapetyan was in third place with a result of 189 kg. This is reported by KGSMN.
"In the push-up exercise, Karapetyan first held the barbells weighing 215 kg and then 226 kg above his head. In this form, he was the first.
Simon Martirosyan kept only 183 kg overhead in the snatch exercise, and 215 kg in the deadlift.
"Simon Martirosyan is the 6th with the result of 398 kg in the two-fight event," the report said.
