The Israeli negotiating team has returned from Doha, and the Israeli military-political cabinet will discuss further negotiations on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, Dmitry Gendelman, an adviser to the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, told RIA Novosti.
"The Israeli negotiating team has returned from Qatar. A meeting of the military-political cabinet is scheduled to be held tomorrow, where further negotiations with the mediators will be discussed," Gendelman said.
Over the weekend, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu authorized the departure of an Israeli delegation to Qatar for further negotiations with the mediators for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
According to the agreement reached on January 19, negotiations on the second phase of the deal with the Palestinian Hamas movement were to begin last week in Doha, but this did not happen.
