A bachelor tiger ate a man in Russia


A single tiger attacked a man in the Dalnerechensky district of the Primorsky Territory. The latter died. According to the information of the Amur Tiger Center, the deceased was fishing at night near the village of Zimniki, writes Kommersant.

"On the morning of January 14, the hunting inspectorate received a message that a tiger attacked a person in the area of ​​the village of Zimniki in the municipal district of Dalnerechensk.

Hunting inspectors and police officers promptly arrived at the scene.

"Unfortunately, the information has been confirmed that a human body and traces of a tiger were found on the spot," said Filip Shutov, Deputy Minister of Forestry and Natural Resources of the region.

The reasons for the animal's aggressive behavior are currently being clarified.
