The Ukrainian Justice Ministry will audit state registers and ensure a high level of data security, First Deputy Justice Minister Yevheniy Horovets has said.
He spoke about the ministry's goals envisaged by the Cabinet of Ministers' program of activities, the ministry's press service reported.

In particular, Horovets stressed that the ministry's No. 1 goal was to "protect people from fraud on property and from misleading on legally important information."

"Ukraine needs to create an effective infrastructure of ensuring mutual trust that will make fraud unprofitable. To achieve this goal, state registers will be audited and interoperability and a high level of data security will be ensured," he said.

According to him, the Justice Ministry will also introduce "a reliable system of state registration, which will guarantee the inviolability of real estate and business rights."

"We will provide Ukrainians with accessible notarial services, including through the electronic notarial system, and introduce the possibility of conducting separate registration actions without human intervention, which will provide zero corruption risks and instant service," Horovets said.

On September 29, the government approved and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a draft resolution on the program of activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The program sets out the goals and priorities of the government's activities for the next five years.
