Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Strategic Industries Oleh Urusky has held a number of important meetings as part of the IDEX 2021 international defense exhibition, which are aimed at expanding Ukraine's cooperation with the UAE, Jordan and Brazil.
He wrote this on his Facebook page on Monday, February 22.

"In parallel with the events that accompanied the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Abu Dhabi, many important high-level meetings took place today. For example, for almost an hour, we discussed with Crown Prince [of Abu Dhabi], Sheikh, UAE Deputy Prime Minister Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahayan possible promising areas of cooperation between the two states. Issues of investment in the field of military and technical cooperation, cooperation in the aviation industry, rocket and space industry, aircraft engine construction, and the development of air defense systems were raised. The UAE is interested in establishing close contacts with Ukrainian producers," Urusky said.

According to the report, during a meeting with Deputy Commander of the UAE Land Forces Saeed Al Shehhi, both parties discussed military and technical cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, during a meeting with Jordan's official delegation headed by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Major General Youssef Ahmed Al-Hnaity, Urusky discussed opportunities for further development of cooperation between the two countries, including in the field of radar, EW, armored vehicles, and ammunition.

According to Urusky, the issue of filling the content of the recently signed memorandum on scientific and technical cooperation and commercialization of defense products was raised at a meeting with Deputy Minister of Defense of Brazil Marcos Pontes. "I hope that our cooperation will soon grow into concrete bilateral projects," Urusky said, adding that he also met with a number of defense companies from around the world.
