Ukraine and Egypt have discussed ways to expand bilateral energy cooperation and train experts in this field at Ukrainian higher education institutions.
The press service of the Embassy of Ukraine released the relevant statement following a meeting of Ambassador of Ukraine in the Arab Republic of Egypt Yevhen Mykytenko with H.E. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the ARE.

“During the meeting, the parties discussed the ways of expanding bilateral cooperation in the energy field, prospects for Ukrainian companies to enter the Egyptian market, as well as issues of training of Egyptian citizens at Ukrainian higher education institutions of engineering, specially oil and gas,” reads the statement.

As reported, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine is implementing its largest overseas investment projects, namely the Alam El Shawish Western Desert Project in the Western Desert in Egypt.
