In Brussels, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has held a meeting with Vice-President of the European Commission, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.
Zelensky thanked Mogherini for maintaining the constant attention of the European Council on Foreign Relations to the issue of supporting Ukraine and the security situation in the east of our country, as well as supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and the policy of non-recognition of the illegal annexation of Crimea, the press service of the head of state reported.

The parties agreed to intensify the joint pressure on the Russian Federation to release Ukrainian sailors and all political prisoners. They also discussed further steps in the context of the implementation of the Minsk agreements and support of Ukrainian citizens living in the territory temporarily occupied by Russia.

In addition, the head of state informed of the plans to intensify reforms in priority areas, namely fighting against corruption, judicial reform, and reform of the Security Service of Ukraine.
