Ukraine imposed sanctions against the Georgian authorities


Vladimir Zelensky said that he signed a decree on the imposition of sanctions by Ukraine against the authorities of Georgia. The corresponding decree was published on its website.

As stated in the text of the document, the lists include 19 people, namely Bidzina Ivanishvili, the founder of the "Georgian Dream" party, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, Head of the State Security Service Grigol Liluashvili, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, as well as a number of judges of the Georgian Parliament and deputies.

"I just signed a decree that gives force to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions, and it is sanctions against the government of Georgia," Zelensky said on his Telegram channel.

Yesterday, Zelensky announced that Kiev was preparing restrictive measures against the Georgian authorities.
