US President Joe Biden has pardoned his son, Hunter, in two court cases, despite repeated promises not to do so.
"Today I pardoned my son Hunter. From my first day in office, I have said that I will not interfere with the decisions of the US Department of Justice, and I have remained true to my word, even as I have seen my son being selectively and unfairly prosecuted.
No sane person, studying the facts of Hunter's case, can come to any other conclusion than that he was singled out because he is my son," the American leader said, as quoted by the White House press service from the statement, we are talking about the proceedings in the states of Delaware and California.
In Delaware, Hunter Biden was charged with a firearms violation. He was found guilty.
In California, the son of the American leader admitted his guilt in tax evasion. The White House has stated many times before that Biden is not going to pardon his son.
