Gurgen Arsenyan, the former member of the Communist Party of Ukraine, the current RA ambassador to the Russian Federation, while meeting Manaseryan in the foyer, admonished Manaseryan to "don't give harsh critical speeches at the forum, don't do national things, don't let my efforts fail, I'm doing great things, you'll understand later, oh dear work is being done, don't suddenly spoil everything with your anti-state speeches."
Manaseryan, of course, was taken by surprise and demanded an explanation in a low voice as to who among those present had ever shown anti-state behavior, if not them (referring to Arsenyan's former teammates from the CP). The answers of the ambassador who threatened to attack and scolded those who arrived from Yerevan could not be heard.
We approached the ambassador who was directing and reprimanding the independent economist with a harsh voice and tried to demand an explanation as to what right he has to shout and try to direct the independent economist before the speech and what effort he managed to make in just a few days, that he saved the Armenian-Russian not so much. and the relations that appeared in a good state, especially since his fears about the expert Manaseryan, who was completely acceptable to the Russian side, were not understandable.
Ambassador Arsenyan, however, refused to speak and only tried to justify himself by pretending that he had a private conversation, "What, he doesn't have the right?" At his residence in Moscow, therefore, he is obliged to give an explanation, but he avoided speaking in order not to get into another scandal.
We inquired from Tatul Manaseryan, by what right and what instructions did the ambassador give him, what was required of him before the speech on the Moscow platform, he confirmed that, yes, he tried to reprimand him not to make anti-state speeches with harsh criticisms, that he allegedly undertook a huge task in relations in the matter of repair, do not suddenly give up.
Why didn't you respond to the ambassador with a hard and adequate response, we asked the economist, he said: "I was shocked by that behavior, I didn't decide what to do at that moment."
By the way, it is very important to note that Russian Duma Deputy Chairman Pyotr Tolstoy and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin participated in that forum on behalf of the Russian delegation.
