At its session today, the government approved the amendment to the law "On the 2017-2020 program for the privatization of state property".
In the justification of the decision, it is mentioned that after handing over the sports complex located at 5 Tsitsernakaberd Highway in Yerevan to the RA KGSMS, it is planned to thoroughly repair it and create a training center for collective teams.
Taking into account the presence of a dormitory building and two gymnasiums, the sports facility will be used for training sessions, RA championships and other tournaments.
With the adoption of the project, the state budget will increase costs by 2.3 billion drams. Currently, the sports complex is in the process of privatization.
The sports complex has an administrative area, a canteen, a dormitory building designed for about 60 people, 2 gymnasiums of 1600 square meters each.
One of the gymnasiums corresponds to the international standards of artistic gymnastics, and the children's school of artistic gymnastics and acrobatics has been training there for years.
The other gym was used for wrestling, judo and boxing classes.
