Precipitation is expected in the whole of Armenia in the coming days. Gagik Surenyan, deputy director of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of the Republic of Armenia, said this in a conversation with Sputnik Armenia.
Precipitation is caused by a powerful cyclone entering from the northwest.
"Already now most of the republic is under the influence of that cyclone. There is snow in a number of mountainous regions. It is raining in the foothills and valley zones, and thundering in some parts," said Surenyan.
