On November 26 of this year, at 20:50 local time (16:50 GMT), the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia registered Iran with geographical coordinates of 38.53⁰ north latitude and 46.30⁰ east longitude: 67 km west of Ahar city, 10 km depth of hearth 4.4 magnitude earthquake.
The strength of the underground shock in the epicentral zone was 6 points.
The earthquake was felt in the cities of Goris, Sisian, Meghri, Kapan, Kajaran and Agarak of Syunik region with a magnitude of 3-4.
