Gevorg Stepanyan, a member of the "Mother Armenia" faction, wrote on his Facebook page:
"It is unacceptable to move with double standards... Years ago, when the city government wanted to raise the price of transport by 50 drams, show business and various "faces" expressed their opposition and held round-the-clock actions. Now, the "authority" who received 9% of the votes wants to implement the price increase of the same transport, up to 300 drams.
"Boys and girls", where are you, don't you want to express yourself, they make the same citizen the material of a fine? Don't you want to stand by your citizen, your taxpayer, your audience? Participate and urge to participate in the signature collection AGAINST transport. It is a small step on your part, but a big support for the citizen."
