Media: France and Britain, following the United States, allowed Ukraine to push deep into Russia

France and Great Britain allowed Ukraine to launch strikes on Russian territory using their long-range weapons, writes Figaro.

Earlier, the New York Times, citing unnamed representatives of the American administration, reported that US President Joe Biden for the first time authorized the use of American long-range missiles by Ukraine to strike Russian territory. According to the New York Times, Biden's step is related to information about the alleged presence of North Korean forces in the Kursk region. The newspaper emphasizes that this “caused the need to strengthen the defense of the Ukrainian military.”

“The French and British gave permission to Ukraine to launch strikes on Russian territory using their Scalp/Storm Shadow missiles,” the media writes.
