Elon Musk has put forward the idea of replacing airplanes with Starship rockets

SpaceX, billionaire Elon Musk's company, plans to revive its plans to develop the commercial aviation industry. Musk claims that his vision of space travel with the Starship rocket is "now possible" after Trump's re-election, the Daily Mail reports.

Starship, introduced by SpaceX almost a decade ago, can carry up to 1,000 passengers. Instead of flying into space, the rocket will fly "parallel" to Earth, crossing the planet's surface to another city. This will significantly shorten air travel, saving time for travelers, even though they may have to pay thousands of dollars just for the ticket.

According to SpaceX, Starship can take people from London to New York in 30 minutes, from New York to Shanghai in 39 minutes, and from Zurich to Sydney in 50 minutes. However, passengers will experience stress during take-off and landing.

Four astronauts are expected to land on the moon in 2026 as part of NASA's Artemis 3 mission.
Musk recently announced that SpaceX will send its multi-billion-dollar Starship rocket to Mars in 2026. Two years after that, in 2028, Starship will send humans to Mars for the first time.
