Trump may visit the UK again, writes the Guardian

The winner of the US presidential election, Donald Trump, may visit the UK again due to the change of power in the kingdom and the temporary gap between his own presidential terms, the Guardian reports, citing unnamed sources in the British government.

"Trump's second state visit should not be ruled out due to three differences since 2019 (the last time Trump visited the UK - ed.): the gap between his presidential terms, the change of government from Conservatives to Labor and the new monarch of Charles III," it says V
article.

At the same time, the publication emphasizes that sources refuted the words of British parliamentarian and leader of the Reform UK party, Nigel Farage, that Trump’s invitation to speak before both houses of the British Parliament had already been formally announced by the Speaker of the Lower House, Lindsay Hoyle.

The Guardian's material notes that previously the only foreign leader to visit the UK twice on an official visit was former French President Jacques Chirac, who visited the kingdom in 1996 and 2004.
