The French Foreign Ministry will summon Israeli Ambassador Yael Herman regarding the actions of the Israeli police during the visit of Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barro to the country. AFP informed about this decision of the French Foreign Ministry.
Earlier, Israeli police raided the grounds of the French Pater Noster church in Jerusalem before Barro entered.
They also briefly detained the French gendarmes who tried to resist them.
The Foreign Minister considered this situation unacceptable and refused to go to church.
