According to our official sources, the main reason for the created uncertainty is the lack of final political decisions of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Pashinyan is on vacation these days, and according to our information, until now no final instructions have been given as to which candidates from the CP proportional list should take over the mandate of deputy, and who should give it up. CP sources of the "Zhoghovurd" daily report that for this very reason, a significant number of more than 64 government candidates will appear before the Central Electoral Commission today.
It is not excluded that some of them will be informed only on the spot whether they should accept the parliamentary mandate or submit an application for resignation. At the moment, the transient part of the official list ends with Eduard Aghajanyan, DJ Edo. However, taking into account that the final decisions on resignations and possible personnel appointments have not yet been fully published, it is not excluded that there will be new changes at the last minute. Thus, although the ceremony of handing over the mandates is planned in a solemn format, in reality it can also turn into a process of last-minute political decisions and resignations, especially for the ruling team."
