"Zhoghovurd" daily learned from its well-informed sources that Aren Mkrtchyan has changed his permanent registration address. he has already registered in the city of Vanadzor. The point is that the Electoral Code establishes a requirement for permanent registration and residence in the community in order to participate in the elections of the head of the community or the council of elders. At the moment, the community is led by Arkady Peleshyan, better known by the nickname AKA. According to this version, Mkrtchyan will lead the pre-election campaign, after the elections he will give up his mandate, and the way to become the head of the community will be opened for Arkady Peleshyan.
However, the same sources convey another remarkable circumstance. According to them, Aren Mkrtchyan expressed his displeasure with such a scenario among his close teammates, declaring that if AKA is included in the KP electoral list, he will not participate in the campaign.
