A NATO official has arrived in Armenia


The delegation led by Vice Admiral Gunstein Bruasdahl (Norway), Deputy Chief of Staff of NATO, Supreme Command of Allied Forces in Europe, arrived in Armenia on a working visit. The RA Ministry of Defense informs about this. During the visit, the delegation had meetings with the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, Major General Artur Yeroyan and the Head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the Defense Ministry, Levon Ayvazyan.

During the meetings, issues related to the progress and prospects of Armenia-NATO cooperation were discussed. The NATO side was presented with the progress of the defense reforms implemented in Armenia. Within the framework of the visit to Armenia, the delegation led by Vice-Admiral Broasdahl visited the Military Academy named after Vazgen Sargsyan of the Ministry of Defense and the brigade of peacekeeping forces.
