Bloomberg: American soldiers were injured as a result of the attack on the air base in Kuwait

As a result of Iran's attack on the air base in Kuwait, several American servicemen were injured, Bloomberg reported, citing sources.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that on May 27, Kuwait intercepted a ballistic missile that Washington believes was launched by Iran. Earlier, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (an elite unit of the Iranian Armed Forces) announced that Tehran had struck the American base from which the attack on the facility near Bandar Abbas Airport was launched.

According to Bloomberg, fragments of the intercepted missile fell on the airbase. About five people were injured, including soldiers and contractors. In addition, one MQ-9 Reaper drone was destroyed and another was damaged.
