After negotiations in Beijing, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Chinese President Xi Jinping signed an agreement on eternal friendship, neighborliness and cooperation between the two countries. This was reported by the press service of the head of Tajikistan. Rahmon is on a state visit to China from May 11-14.
"The Heads of State, Emomali Rahmon and Xi Jinping, signed the joint statement of the Republic of Tajikistan and the People's Republic of China on deepening comprehensive cooperation and strategic partnership in the new era, as well as the Treaty of Eternal Friendship, Neighborliness and Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People's Republic of China," the statement posted on the presidential website said.
