The leaders of the CIS countries will gather at the end of December to summarize the results of the year and outline plans for the future, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced.
The head of Russia said this at the ceremony of handing over the credentials of foreign ambassadors. Putin noted that the CIS countries are "Russia's closest neighbors, best friends, natural strategic partners and allies."
He reminded that in 2025 the countries will jointly celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
