Erdogan offered Trump a meeting with the participation of Iran

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan suggested to US President Donald Trump to organize a trilateral high-level meeting with the participation of Iran, reports the pro-Turkish Hürriyet newspaper, citing sources.

According to the information of the CNN TV channel, Trump is considering the possibility of striking Iran after the negotiations on the Islamic Republic's nuclear program have not yielded results, the media reports with reference to informed sources.

"The main topic of the last telephone conversation between Turkish President Erdogan and US President Trump was Iran. Erdogan again presented Ankara's position and offered to discuss this issue at the negotiating table. The president urged the USA and Iran to organize a tripartite high-level meeting with the participation of Turkey, which can be held in the format of a teleconference," writes Hande Fiarat, an analyst close to the government of Hürriyet newspaper.
