The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, has reached a historical milestone, becoming the first person in history whose fortune has exceeded 600 billion dollars. This was due to the rapid increase in the valuation of his rocket company, SpaceX, reports Forbes.

According to Forbes, the latest bid valued SpaceX at $800 billion (up from $400 billion in August), raising Musk's net worth, who owns roughly 42% of the company, to roughly $677 billion. Reaching the $600 billion mark is a unique achievement, as no one has even reached the $500 billion mark before.
