The Prime Minister of Hungary expressed his support to the Georgian authorities

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban expressed full support to the Georgian authorities at a briefing held in Tbilisi.

"I want to congratulate you for not allowing your country to turn into a second Ukraine in the context of striving for European integration.

We highly appreciate the Prime Minister's commitment to this idea, and I am personally convinced that by the end of the decade, Georgia will be truly ready to become an EU member state in its best form. We will do everything to help you," Orban said after the meeting with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze.

Orban also said that the elections in Georgia were free and fair. He called the criticisms "noise" and advised "not to look at it seriously". if the liberals win, then it's a democracy, if the conservatives win, then it turns out not to be a democracy."
