Russian President Vladimir Putin started the meeting with Dilma Rousseff, head of the new BRICS development bank. Journalist Pavel Zarubin reported this on Telegram.

This is Putin's first meeting within the BRICS summit started in Kazan. On the Russian side, the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiulina, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian President Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov and Finance Minister Anton Siluanov are participating in the meeting with Rousseff.

BRICS summit started in Kazan on Tuesday. The event will last until October 24. The new member states of the association will attend the meeting for the first time.
