The second session of the expert commission of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the current year was held, during which the issue of granting the status of newly discovered monuments to a number of historical and cultural objects was discussed, as well as the projects of protection zones for 32 monuments included in the state lists of immovable monuments of history and culture of the Republic of Armenia.

"They are the residential building at Abovyan 25 (1950s), Nalbandian 3 residential building (1952), Nalbandian 5 administrative building (1930s), Nalbandian Residential building at 7-9 (1950s), Moskovyan 11 administrative building (1946-1950). The mentioned buildings have been valued as structures documenting the historical-artistic, architectural qualities of the modern period and characterizing the architectural features, style, and type. The Graveyards (Middle Ages) and Graveyards (Late Middle Ages) objects located in the territory of the "Averak" village of Zar village (state index: 6:27:30) included in the state list of immovable monuments of history and culture of the Kotayk region of the Republic of Armenia were given the sub-monument of the said village. status.

The Bronze Age petroglyphs and petroglyphs of Kakavadzor village, Aragatsotn marz, Shamiram fortress, a fortress-residence on the top of Hatis mountain in Kotayk marz, received the status of a monument of republican significance. Armenian National Academy of Sciences expedition in 2023. carried out archaeological studies in the area of ​​the castle-residence. From the excavations, objects of military, luxury and domestic significance were found. The finds include Neolithic stone tools, arrowheads from the Late Bronze-Iron Age monastery, an iron spearhead, decorative items made of various stones, iron and bronze, a cylinder seal (probably 5th century BC), a silver coin of Alexander the Great. Pottery shards from the late Bronze Age, early antiquity, and the Middle Ages were also found. The main structures also date back to the Middle Ages, which underwent some changes in the late Middle Ages. As a result of the excavations, 4 phases of the foundation and use of the fortress-residence were documented: Neolithic (Phase I), Late Bronze-Early Cathedral (Phase II), Antiquity (Phase III) and Medieval (Phase IV), the borders of the fortress were clarified. According to the results of the excavations, an agreement was reached with the "Gagik Tsarukyan" charitable foundation to move the place of installation of the statue of Jesus Christ from the pre-determined peak to an adjacent hill more than 260 m away, which, according to archaeological studies, lacks archaeological layers and is outside the castle. from the area. The Ministry has given permission to carry out geodesy and geological studies of the adjacent hill for preparatory works. The fund was informed that the project needs to be coordinated with the authorized body at all stages.

Among the discussed projects of conservation zones of immovable monuments of history and culture located in different marzes of the Republic are the "Old Shirakavan" settlement of Shirakavan village of Shirak marz (2-1st millennium BC, state index: 7.90.2), castle (m. 1st millennium BC, head: 7.90.2.1, tomb site (2nd-1st millennium BC, head: 7.90.2.2) Monastery complex of Odzun village of Horomayri St. Sign: lower group of monuments, X-XIII centuries. (stat. index: 5.112.10) and monastery complex Horomayri St. Sign: upper group of monuments, X-XIII centuries. (state index: 5.112.11) and 29 other monuments protection zone projects.
