Samsung suspends support of four famous Galaxy smartphones

Samsung has announced that it is terminating the release of four well-known Models of Galaxy smartphones. This, as Gizmochina writes, marks the completion of the software support of these devices.

Now the users of these models will not receive important safety updates and corrections of mistakes, which makes them more vulnerable to cyberwears and possible malfunctions.

The devices for which support have been stopped, include Galaxy A22, Galaxy F22, Galaxy M32 and Galaxy M42 5G models.

These four models were released in 2021. At first, they were promised to updates up to two main Android operating system and support for four years of security updates. The latest main update for them was Android 13, which was released two years ago, and now the support of security updates is also over.

Although the Galaxy A22, F22, M32 and M42 5G smartphones will continue to operate as usual, the lack of future updates means that they will not be protected from newly discovered vulnerabilities. Owners holding sensitive data on their devices are highly recommended to observe the transition to a newer model that offers improved software support.
