The permanent representatives of the EU member states are expected on Wednesday, February 19, according to the agenda of the meeting, the 16th package of individual and economic sanctions against Russia, as well as new limits against Belarus.

The new sanctions on the agenda of Permanent Representatives have been transferred from the discussed category to agreed decisions that require approval and further performance to the EU Council for final technical approval.
In addition, permanent representatives are expected to expand sanctions against Belarus due to the Ukrainian conflict.
After the agreement, the package of sanctions will be submitted to the EU Ministers for final approval.
Most likely, they will be the leaders of the Foreign Ministries of the Community member states, who will meet on February 24.
