In recent days, the patrols found four guns, bullets and other ammunition in different cases.

This is reported by the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"On May 11, the patrols of the 2nd company of the 3rd battalion of the Yerevan regiment of the Patrol Service, while performing their duty on Artsakh Avenue, arrested two young men, 32 and 26 years old, residents of the village of Nerkin Getashen, Gegharkunik marz, on suspicion of illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, and transferred them to the Erebuni department of the Community Police. A gun and bullets were found in their possession.

On May 12, in the same area, officers of the 2nd company of the 4th battalion of the Yerevan City Patrol Regiment found a gun, knife and bullets near the 30-year-old driver.

The men arrested in both cases and the prepared documents were submitted to the pre-investigation body.

On May 15, the patrols of the 2nd company of the Tavush Battalion of the Patrol Service discovered illegal weapons. At the end of Haghartsi village, they stopped a "Bentley" car, in the bag of which they noticed an object similar to a weapon wrapped in a cloth. However, the 34-year-old driver threw the bag on the road. The 34-year-old driver and the 33-year-old passenger were reported to the Dilijan Community Police Department, and a gun was found at the scene. The 34-year-old driver was arrested.

On May 16, the officers of the 2nd company of the 4th battalion of the Yerevan regiment of the Patrol Service approached a BMW car parked on Shahumyan street, whose 27-year-old driver, noticing the patrols, tried to hide an object under the passenger seat. During an external inspection, the patrols noticed an object resembling a gun between the seat and the gearbox. The driver said it was a gun.

The driver was arrested and taken with the car to the Community Police Department of Malatya.

The prepared documents were sent to the preliminary investigation body. In all cases, the circumstances are clarified," the message says
