It is about the conflict between Hayk Sargsyan's report on deforestation at the meeting of CP party active and Hayk Ghalumyan, Pashinyan's godfather, whose topic was Tavush forests.
After that clash, Pashinyan instructed to find out the motivation of Hayk Sargsyan's interests.
In CP, they believe that Hayk Sargsyan will not have good days, because in the very session, Pashinyan made a strong bias, protecting his childhood friend and mentor, Tavush governor Ghalumyan.
And he reprimanded Sargsyan, "Do you want everyone to be tried? Is there a problem? Let's eliminate it, not judge it." And he says this in the case when people are continuously detained in the country on the most trivial and unconfirmed charges.
It is noteworthy that on Tuesday, the topic of deforestation was also discussed at the meeting of the party board, but only Environment Minister Hakob Simidyan and Hayk Ghalumyan were invited, and Hayk Sargsyan, who spoke about deforestation, was not invited.
Which means that the governor and the minister are acting with the knowledge of Pashinyan and that is why they are trying to cover up the condition of the forests. Let us also remember that the Sargsyan family has long-standing ties with Nikol Pashinyan.
Hayk Sargsyan's twin brother, Nairi Sargsyan, was Pashinyan's assistant after the revolution.
He was dismissed from his post in January 2022, without explaining the reasons, and he recently started criticizing the authorities in mild tones."
